Ugljanska Plava noć, folklore evening
The folklore evening "Ugljanska Plava noć - Ugljan Blue Night" preserves old Ugljan customs, songs and dances from oblivion.
Alongside the Ugljan association "Điran," every folklore evening is enriched by guest associations and cultural-artistic societies (KUDs). They proudly represent their hometowns and bring a piece of their native traditions to the event's visitors.
The youngest residents of Ugljan—kindergarten and elementary school students—also perform at the folklore evening, learning from an early age to cherish the traditions of their grandmothers and grandfathers.
Ugljanska Plava noć is held in June.
