Island Rivanj
Rivanj is an island of preserved nature and rich marine life, attractive to many divers. Rivanj only has one village called Rivanj with 23 inhabitants. Explore the elevated parts of the island, which hide the remains of the Liburnian hillfort (Vela Glava) or marine life, which is attractive to sport fishermen. In the past, the local people lived off fishing and agriculture, and the island was attractive to the Zadar noble family Lantana, which bought the island in the 17th century. Spend your time outdoors, climb the highest hill of the island – Lokoćina, rising at 112m, check out the church of St. Helen from the 19th century, or explore the remains of the medieval church of St. Barbara.
